Day 6: Special Awards Celebrations - Thursday May 16, 2013

With such a fine showing at the Special Awards Ceremony, optimism was abound for the next night's Grand Awards.  But for the moment, the team enjoyed the success and celebrated like Canadians do.  Party!  Curfew however was set at 11 pm with an early morning meeting time of 7 am set to prepare for breakfast before the Grand Awards.

Day 6: Special Awards Night - Thursday May 16, 2013

There was something else that was HOT in Phoenix other than the weather (104 degree F) ... so was TEAM CANADA!  We did exceptionally well for the first night of the awards, the Special Awards portion.

11 Awards ... $25,850 ... one Full University Tuition ... two CERN Full Expense Trips

Thanks to one of our alumni, Nicholas Schiefer (Team Canada 2012 and 2nd Best in Fair) and obviously one of our fans of Team Canada 2012 as he reported on facebook of our results prior to us returning to our hotel rooms ... we have the following results from Special Awards Night courtesy of Nicholas
For other curious alumni: here are the results of the special awards ceremony
